For centuries my soul has wandered and for centuries it has sought you... Until tonight, when I find you at last: so different and at the same time the same you've always been; tonight I discover that the reason for every bad thing and every happy moment in my life it's been you, and it will always be you. But you and I can never be together, because our destinies bring us apart, because my existence represents a threat to your entire being, because when you least expect it I might destroy you should rage consume me...

A few nights before seeing you again, I felt you near; I tried to find you, but you hid from me. Yet tonight I find you so calm, that I wonder if you're alive or if you're the corpse of a distant memory distorted by time... Or perhaps the phantom of that last unbridled night when our souls intertwined...

You open your lips and talk to me... Your sweet voice floods over my senses, your eyes as hard and beautiful as always, your hair just like the fire which could consume me forever yet destroy me in but a few seconds... Your words as sweet as the ones pronounced in that distant night when we parted, words that walked by my side in my dreamless sleeping moments... And right then, you disappear... For ever, this time. My guardian angel couldn't withstand my suffering and decided to destroy you in order to protect me... that's it's duty.

Though my soul cries in this eternal night, my heart rejoices... For you will never come back to make me suffer and make me happy, and now I know, as your ashes merge with the earth and the wind, that you'll no longer be anything but a beautiful memory... Durante siglos mi alma ha vagado y durante siglos te ha buscado... Hasta ésta noche, cuando al fin te encuentro: tan diferente, tan cambiada y a la vez la misma de siempre; ésta noche descubro que la causa de todo mal y felicidad en mi vida fuiste, eres y serás tú. Pero tú y yo ya nunca podremos estar juntos, porque nuestros destinos nos separan; porque mi mera existencia representa una amenaza a todo lo que tú eres, porque en el día menos pensado podría destrozarte si la furia me consume...

Pocas noches antes de volver a verte, te sentí cerca; quise buscarte, pero de mí te ocultaste. Y esta noche te encuentro tan serena y tranquila, que dudo si vives o eres el cadáver de un recuerdo lejano distorsionado con el tiempo... O tal vez el fantasma de esa última noche desenfrenada en la que nuestras almas se entrelazaron...

Abres la boca, y me hablas... Tu voz melodiosa inunda mis sentidos, tus ojos tan duros y hermosos como siempre, tus cabellos iguales al fuego que podría consumirme eternamente aunque me destruya en unos cuantos segundos... Tus palabras tan melosas como aquella lejana noche en la que nos separamos, y que me acompañaron en mis periodos de sueño vacío... Y en ese momento, desapareces... Esta vez para siempre. Mi ángel guardián no soportó mi sufrimiento, y decidió destruirte para protegerme... Ese es su cometido.

Aunque mi alma llora en esta eterna noche, mi corazón se regocija...
